The school has 800 pupils and 64 teachers and a few non-teaching staff.
“Four of our teachers are Chinese,” he pointed out.
“Like before, we are spending very little on the decoration because the materials used are largely recyclable items,” he explained.

"We are proud of our harmony, like during the Kampung Dato and Kampung Hilir great fire, lots and lots of Chinese show care and love through donations."editorial.
When I was growing up in the government quarters, the nearest school was this Abang Ali School. We did not go to school. When we completed our primary school, we had a handful of their students go us in the secondary school. We integrated well, and some of my best friends, like Jasnah Obeng came from the school.
It is heart warming that the school, despite having very few Chinese staff and no students are decorating the school for this festive season.
For my Save the world meme, I am very pleased to read,"we are spending very little on the decoration because the materials used are largely recyclable items,” he explained."
